The FY10 Defense Appropriations Act provides $150 million to the Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program (BCRP) to support innovative, high-impact breast cancer research. This program is administered by the US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC) through the Office of Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP).
FY10 BCRP program announcements and application instructions and deadlines for the following award mechanisms are anticipated to be posted on Grants.gov and the CDMRP website (http://cdmrp.army.mil) in late January and February 2010. Information in this pre-announcement is being provided to allow investigators time to plan and develop proposals. All proposals must conform to the final FY10 program announcements and application instructions (including deadlines). A Program Announcement and Instructions for each funding mechanism will be available for electronic downloading from the Grants.gov website and also on the CDMRP website in January/February 2010. A listing of all USAMRMC funding opportunities can be obtained on the Grants.gov website by performing a basic search using CFDA Number 12.420.
