Eligibility Investigators at any academic rank and from all academic disciplines are eligible to apply. Although, prior research on suicide is not required, applicants are expected to show evidence of prior research or research training in a related field.
Grants support studies that aim to increase understanding of the causes of suicide and factors related to suicide risk, or to test treatments and other interventions designed to prevent suicide.

Eligibility The grants are awarded to investigators with an academic rank of associate or full professor and an established record of research and publication in the area of suicide.
Grants support research by investigators at the academic rank of associate or full professor on suicide from a variety of disciplines, including psychiatry, medicine, psychology, genetics, epidemiology, neurobiology, sociology, nursing, health services administration and many others
