Instructions and forms for Letters of Intent for Clinical Innovator Awards and Young Clinical Scientist Awards are now available. Please log on to https://famri-lois.aibs.orgin order to submit a Letter of Intent
Each applicant for 2013 must submit a short Letter of Intent prior to submitting a full proposal. The Letters of Intent are due by 5 PM EDT, September 30, 2013. Links to instructions and forms are listed under each type of award.
The following are the topic areas for this funding cycle:
This year FAMRI will limit the subject matter of applications to the effect of second hand tobacco smoke exposure on respiratory diseases. The only proposals that will be considered will deal with the following topic areas:
  • Chronic sinusitis, including cilia abnormalities or alterations
  • Aggravation of asthmatic conditions and allergies
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and Emphysema
FAMRI is interested in clinical and translational research, from basic molecular mechanisms of disease to occupational health.
