New Research Grants Offered for Study of Online and Flipped Classroom Learning

Adapt Courseware is awarding research grants to selected institutions to examine adaptive learning principles in multiple courses and large-scale implementations, resulting in measurable learning outcomes in a financially sustainable way.
Adapt Courseware’s current studies already completed and underway demonstrate higher student performance, completion, retention, and satisfaction when compared with online courses that do not include adaptive features. The goal of the company’s Adaptive Learning Research Grant Program is to gather additional research across large-scale instances and measure learning outcomes using the company’s adaptive courseware compared to traditional online courses.
Available Grant Awards:Multiple year-long grants of up to $40,000 each are available to qualifying institutions, including private and public two- and four-year institutions, community colleges, and large K-12 districts.
Grants are available for:
  • Introduction to Psychology
  • Introduction to Sociology
  • Financial Accounting
  • Organizational Behavior.
Deadline:Applicants are encouraged to send a letter of intent to apply by September 13, 2013.
Completed applications are due November 1, 2013.
